NEW KID ON THE BLOCK

I got home with about 2 hours of daylight left. I picked up sticks and filled up the mower. I got about 3/4 of an acre mowed and still had light left to rake up some of the cuttings for the chickens, gather eggs (one of which had been chipped..not a good sign), feed chickens, and then sit on the swing with a chunk of brie and a box of blackberries and watch the sun settle on golden on the horizon....then I heard it....
^
rustling on the stuff on the back porch...I snuck back and there he was with his head in a box.
^
I said in my semi-mean voice, "Hey! What are you doing?"

His head popped up...his tail popped up and he "chirped" hello and came walking up to me like I was an old buddie....he's about 7-8 months old and unneutered. He rubbed his head against my leg as if to say he would trade me a mousie for some real food....and of course it is a good trade.

Oh, what a cutie! He looks fit too. Do you think he is one of the many dump-offs people are making nowadays? Please say you're gonna keep that adorable orange boy?

Oh, how adorable. I love cats. Just ask Lea who I cuddle and love on the most, her or the cat-lol. I hope you'll keep him too.

I love cats too. I will ask across the street Christy to see if he belongs there, if not he probably is a drop off. If so I will pack him in a box, take him to Cause for Paws, get him neutered and his rabies shots and let him heal a little and pamper him with wet food and when he feels better, let him loose again. If he doesn't want to stay here he doesn't have to but as long as he isn't spraying everything he is welcome to stay.

He's a sweetie. I wish someone would drop a cat off around here...preferrably already fixed though. ;) I can do the shots myself.
