ANOTHER USE FOR EXTRA EGGS

Homemade Noodles
6 egg yolks
6 tbsp. water
3 c. flour (approximately)
1/2 tsp. salt
*Makes 1 pound

Beat the egg yolks and water together thoroughly. Stir in the salt and flour to make a very stiff, yet workable dough. *I added a few extra tbls. of water in mine to work the dough easier.

Divide the dough into four balls. Roll each one out, making as thin a layer as possible. At this point I will cut out my strips with a pizza cutter very thin. I will then lay them over tine I have strung under my cabinets that I use to dry herbs, biltong, etc. Right now I have 3 okra pods hanging there to keep the seeds.

I've never made noodles. I'm going to give this one a try! Thanks!

how long do they have to "hang" before you can cook them?

Faith neither have I. H I believe I have talked to people who have cooked them right away. Your guess is as good as mine on this one. I might try experimenting a little to find out.
