2ND POST! FIRST EGG!!!
SOMEONE BLESSED ME WITH MY FIRST EGG TODAY!!! THANK YOU SANTA FOR THE WONDERFUL NEST BOXES. WHO EVER LAID THE FIRST EGG....OREO I IMAGINE...PICKED HER FAVORITE BOX...SECOND FROM THE END.
I remember the first egg our flock ever had. It was years ago when I first bought the farm. We raised 100 hens from day old chicks. Our first egg was smaller than yours but when my 12 year old son came running in with it with great excitement you would have thought he had witnessed a miracle. We went all over town showing everyone we met.
Then, they started laying, and laying and laying. You can't imagine how many eggs 100 layers can lay. For several years my son had an egg business.
LOL I completely understand. My face was sore because I had smiled for so long and called so many people. My city sister just didn't understand all the comotion! it's just an egg!

I am so excited!!! I think it is the new food? or just happened to be the time maybe. I am going to keep count too. I GOT AN EGG!!!!!
