BEAUTIFUL NOVEMBER MORNING

IT IS 60 OUT TODAY. THE SUN IS SHINING BRIGHTLY.

I PLANTED 30 GARLIC CLOVES AND CLEANED OUT THE PLANT DEBRIS FROM MY 1 RAISED BED.

ALL THE WHILE I WAS LISTENING TO A CHORUS OF EASTERN BLUEBIRDS, MOCKINGBIRDS, CARDINALS, CROWS, HAWKS, MOURNING DOVES, CHICKADEES, AND WOOD PECKERS. I AM SURE THERE WERE MORE IN THERE BUT THAT IS ALL I COULD ID.

I LET BULL OUT OF HIS FIELD AND INTRODUCED HIM TO THE CHICKENS. EACH TIME THEY WOULD FLAP THEIR WINGS OR MAKE A NOISE HE WOULD PERK UP HIS EARS AND LOOK THEIR WAY BUT OTHER THAN THAT THERE WAS NO INTEREST. THIS IS A GOOD THING.

EVEN WHILE I WAS PLANTING HE DIDN'T PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THEM AND WAS MORE INTERESTED IN FINDING THINGS TO CHEW ON.

OH I WISH I DIDN'T HAVE TO GO TO WORK TODAY.

WELL I CLOSED ON THE SALE OF MY 1 RENTAL HOUSE. I AM NO LONGER A SLUM LORD. I WILL MISS THAT HOUSE BUT I SOLD IT JUST IN TIME. I WALKED THROUGH AFTER THE SALE AND THE TENANT HAD NOT TOLD ME THERE WAS A ROOF LEAK FOR THE LAST YEAR. CHUNKS OF DRYWALL WERE FALLING LOOSE TO REVEAL MOLD.

IT IS GOING TO BE BULLDOZED SO THE NEW OWNER SAID I COULD HAVE ANYTHING I WANTED OUT OF THERE.

I AM GOING AFTER THE OAK MEDICINE CABINETS, THE OAK TOWEL RACKS, THE DOORS THE WINDOWS, THE TIN ON THE GARAGE ROOF, SEVERAL BOOK SHELVES THAT THE TENANT LEFT WHICH I WILL PUT IN MY GARAGE AND THE KITCHEN CABINETS. IF WE HAVE THE ENERGY I WILL TRY TO TAKE THE BOTTOM KITCHEN CABINETS ALSO SINK AND ALL.

IF I DON'T USE THESE THINGS I WILL PUT THEM IN MY GARAGE SALE.

THE WINDOWS WILL GO IN THE CHICKEN HOUSE AND SHOP. ANY LEFT OVER WINDOWS WILL BE USED TO MAKE A LARGE HOT BOX TO START SEEDS IN NEXT SPRING....OR POSSIBLY DOUBLE DUTY AS A WINTER SALAD GARDEN.

MAN I DON'T WANT TO GO TO WORK TODAY!!!
