Here are cool nuts that my friend brought me from Austin, TX. They are about the size of a silver dollar and look like mini black walnuts. Spicy scented. Does anyone have any idea what they are? I am going to plant them in pots and soon in the ground.

God do I miss black walnuts. You are very lucky...they are delicious. When we lived in Tennessee, we would get bags of them and crack them open and I would use them in cakes or we would just eat them...I really miss them.
