I have been at the hospital since 7:30, came home to feed and prepare the home for the upcoming storms tonight, and am heading back to Baylor. 6:30 call this morning told me they had put my nephew on a ventilator and may not make it through this one. Prayers would be appreciated.
Thank you all
Tracy

OMG, no. I really hope he pulls through...with all your sister is dealing with, I hope not. I'm sending prayers out into the universe right now for you all.
prayers going up. Take care and be careful driving.
Sending prayers...and hugs.
You guys are really special. I am home now and will try to clean house because nothing bad happens when you are prepared and have clean bathrooms right???? They pulled a liter of fluid from around his lungs and his oxygen level raised some before we left. I will be there all day tomorrow. He is in stable condition right now but it is so very hard to see him this way. two good friends came and visited him that he went to high school with. Braves boys to go in and stay and talk to him although he is fully sedated. rough night. I am going to go now and clean something.
Good to hear his O2 was up. I'm still praying. I'd tell you to ditch the housework and get some rest, but I totally get the cleaning thing. Cleaning helps me ease stress...and I think since it is one of the few things in the world that are within my control, doing it helps me to cope with the things I cannot. And it wears me out...because even when I am tired, cleaning helps me become exhausted so that I can actually sleep. It is hard to sleep when worried and your brain doesn't want to turn off. Great that he had some friends come by. I am a firm believer that even when not conscious, they know you are there. It makes a difference. Hugs to you!
