Yes this is the time of year where we start to think about the future.
I have used DEBTMD to itemize a plan to become debt free by 2016 as well as own my home outright by 2018.
This is using only $200 per month more than I am using right now and paying off $125,000 in debt in 7 years.
I am ready! Are you?

I hope you do. It rocks. However I believe that spending money is the same as alcoholism or drug addiction. I can't believe how addicted I am. I wonder how long it will take before it gets easier?

I paid the first payments toward this and you have no idea how wonderful that felt. To look at my calandar and know what by february, half of my paycheck will be going into savings. I will re-do this in May and I may be able to pay off the truck much faster than expected.
