Well the morning started ok. Fixed a cup of coffee, cleaned and refilled the humming bird feeder (applied more vaseline to keep the ants out), mounted the outdoor thermometer that I temporarily used in the chick box.
Put up the hammock
Sat in the 'reading chair' and read a little of Land of Earth and Sky. Here is my version of the panoramic view:

Then I watched something amazing. My trash guys backed all the way down my street (100 yds+)...all the way past my driveway....looked at my trash can....and drove off.
I called the company and they would not give me the manager. They would only take a message. So I am taking a drive and meeting my neighbors today. I will find out what companies they use and sign up. This is not the first time this has happened.

I don't know. I got a call from the mgr and she was told by the driver that my can was up by the house. my driveway is a good 40 ft from the road and the can was about 5-8 ft fromt he end of the driveway. I felt sorry for them yesterday cause the dead chickens have been cooking in there since last wed am, but I don't know. They got what they deserved. I took photos of my driveway and emailed them to the mgr.
