My goodness these little ones wear me out. It has been so wonderful having them here. I can't believe how much the littlest one has grown. She is talking so good.
First we got to go say hello to the horses who live next door. Then we got to play on the swing set and out front.
Lane helped me fix the bird feeder and then they both helped me fill them.
Then we went on a ride around the whole property with the kids in the trailer.
Then KK fell in love with Baby.
And Baby loved her back.
He was very patient even when she grabbed him by the neck to kiss him on the nose.
They are best buddies.
They got to meet the baby chicks. KK wanted to kiss them.
Just now while I was typing, a sound made it's way into my consciousness. It was the sound of an angry mocking bird out front.
Now I told you that there is death all over my property. I have been expecting carion birds today. They will help clean things up. I have not gone around and picked up pieces, just the whole birds that were left.
Well I was not at all expecting what landed in my yard. My camera didn't get a good pictures so I borrowed one online: crested caraca
It is nap time for kids and Neena

I've never seen one of those before. Interesting bird.
Animals are very merciful with our youngsters, for the most part. Such sweet pictures of your g-kids. :)

Faith I have been in TX since 1978 and I have never seen this bird either.
