The cold wind is howling around the house. I have watered the baby trees, cleaned the chicken house and filled food and water, re-mixed the compost with the chicken house cleanings, dumped the last two bags of rabbit poo into a raised bed in preparation to pick up more tomorrow, cleaned the living room and the kitchen, took a shower and picked up the bathroom.
Also I baked a carrot walnut cake....
Started a pot of home made chili...
And got out my recipe for homemade cornbread.
I have done enough outside. I know 38 is not that cold, but with a 30 mph wind I could not feel my ears. There is so much to do it is hard to just enjoy being stuck inside, but I don't feel like getting sick again. That is a bigger waste of time.
Stud muffin is crowing up a storm right outside the window. He is a beautiful boy. I will try to get good pics.
